Rumy are a portrait studio that come to your event. We come and capture you and your guests, uploading to a private gallery so your guests can download and share their portraits.

    We arrive and set up a proper portrait studio at your venue: backdrop, seating and editorial lighting, all ready for your guests.

  2. Your guests step in.

    Calm, fun direction for every guest and group. Big, silly, tender: dips, lifts, piggybacks, hugs. Glamour with a grin.

  3. Portraits land live.

    Every portrait is edited during the event and uploaded to your private gallery, ready for guests to download and share. Black & white, colour, or a mix.

04 / Meet May & Rish

A little editorial. A lot of you.

We're May & Rish, the husband and wife duo behind Rumy Portraits. We got married in August 2026 and wanted something like Rumy for our own wedding. We couldn't find it, so we built it.

Rish brings ten years of experience as a photographer and cinematographer in the commercial world, and we wanted to take that into the events space. We want to give guests something a little different: editorial-style portraits that show character while capturing memories.

How do guests receive their portraits?

Guests receive their digital images onsite within a few minutes, ready to post on their social channels. We'll explain the delivery process when planning your event.

Do you offer printed portraits?

Our current experience includes digital images only. Printing services are coming soon.

Where do you travel?

We're based in London and travel UK-wide. Include your venue or location in your enquiry and we'll provide a quote for travel.

What space do you need?

Every venue is different. Tell us where you're celebrating and we'll discuss the space, access and setup together.

What if our guests are camera-shy?

They're in good company. We offer friendly guidance and space to relax, so everyone can bring their own personality to their portraits.
